Salman to marry girlfriend Katrina

Actor Salman Khan has made it official. He has finally declared to the world that he is going to marry his long time girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

There were rumours that the couple had split following Salman's recent spat with Shahrukh Khan on Katrina's birthday. Now, Salman has revealed it all to end the speculations once and for all. He said that he is going to marry Katrina next year.

Katrina had earlier dismissed the rumours of marriage with Salman, citing that her career was the main priority. But Salman has a different plan. He seems to be eager to start a family.

Deepika tops Maxim Hot 100 girls list

Bollywood's new entrant Deepika Padukone, whose second film Bachna Ae Haseeno is due for release Aug 15, is considered the hot favourite actress by Indian audiences across the globe. She tops the popular Maxim Hot 100 girls worldwide list.

The Maxim Hot list makes its debut in India and the Om Shanti Omstar, Deepika, is winner of the first edition.

"To be honest, personally I never thought of myself as 'sexy' or 'hot' but if that's the call that people have taken, then I hope I live up to it. I am so excited about this," Deepika said in a press statement.

She joins the likes of previous Bollywood celebrity-winners like Bipasha Basu(Pics), Katrina Kaif (Pics)and Kareena Kapoor (Pics).

"Deepika was our choice as the winner because apart from her huge fan following with the new generation of Indians, she also has the potential to be an international face. This calls for a huge party," said Anup Kutty, editor of Maxim-India.

Deepika will be felicitated August end in Mumbai.

Vidya Balan gets bold in a bedsheet

Put on the war paint, add those finishing touches and Vidya Balan is ready to strike a pose. After receiving flak for her choice of wardrobe, the actress decided to dress down for a cover photo-shoot for the international men's magazine FHM.

The shoot covered a versatile Vidya attempting to look sensuous, coy and sportily sexy!

"I think what we shot for the cover was really very interesting especially where we used sheets and all and it's just that there is a great sensuality to it. I always think that minimal make-up and no fuss hair takes away from everything and it's all about the eyes," she said.

So will Vidya's bold bedsheet shoot help take off some of the bad press she has got for her dressing sense?

Photographer Joy Datta says, "She has been in the industry for a while now. She is very confident about her own self. Lot has been said about her dressing and all that but she is very aware about herself now and it's a new Vidya. And it's great to be a part of that new state she is in."
